  • 1.5 Mil Optically Clear Polyester Cold Overlaminate
  • Because it is polyester instead of vinyl it has the rigidity to span, instead of sink into, the film's holes, which maintains optimum one-way visibility
  • Protects the graphic from dust, water and dirt that may collect in the perforated areas
  • Up to 2 year durability
  • For use on flat surfaces only
  • Not designed for use with ClassicVue or ImageVue window perf
  • When using a cold laminator (recommended method), proper tension control is important to prevent wrinkles and tunneling from occurring. Do not stretch either the window graphics film or the overlaminate during lamination as this can result in tunneling and/or wrinkles.
  • Note:  Avoid stretching the laminated graphic during installation. The vinyl has a memory and, if stretched, may return to its original shape, causing the film to lift off the glass later.

Using 3M Scotch tape with over laminate films.

"Separating the clear release liner from the overlaminate can be challenging. Try sticking a piece of 3M Scotch tape in the corner of the face and back of the overlaminate. Pull both pieces of tape away at the same time. This should allow you to separate the overlaminate from the liner so you can get things started."

Should You Overlaminate Window Perf?

"If you want optimal protection for fading and scuff resistance then you must use optically clear vinyl overlaminate. However, if you want the utmost visibility through the perforated window film, then you can't vinyl overlaminate. In this case an aerosol spray overlaminate could be used prior to install and make sure that liquid does not plug up the perforations. Please note that if you do NOT use vinyl overlaminate it is very difficult to see through the perforated window vinyl when driving in the rain.
