NOTE: 50 yd orders contain two 25 yd rolls

  • 52" wide, 4 Mil Chrome which is wider than other brands for more application benefits, and built in overlaminate for more scratch resistance
  • Satin Red Chrome is less expensive and more effecient than buying a competitor's red chrome then overlaminating that with Satin clear vinyl
  • Even though many installers use Gold, Copper, Green and Satin Red Chrome for full wraps, it is not designed for this.  These are designed for accent applications, not full wraps
  • Silver Chrome designed for full vehicle wraps
  • Up to 5 year outdoor durability vertical exposure
  • Silver chrome comes with a clear liner (capliner) that protects the surface from scratching and helps ensure a mirror-like finish. This liner will need to be removed during or after application depending on surface complexity.  Please refer to Arlon’s instructional video below for additional information. Some customers laminate chrome to further protect from scratches.  When laminating the capliner must be removed first
  • Low Profile air egress adhesive system for easy install and limited repositionability
  • Laws limiting use of chrome films may exist.  It is the buyer's responsibility to comply with state and local laws
  • Chrome installs differently than PVC wrap vinyls.  Please view instructional how-to videos
  • Caution:  Always pre-test vinyl installation on vehicles.  Do not install if there is any adverse or negative impact on sensors and/or other safety-related equipment on the intended vehicle
  • Warning:  During installation it is critical to prevent “dragging” the adhesive side of wrap vinyls over edges and flat surfaces.  Abrasion caused by dragging can result in “adhesive dots” or “sanding” under the surface of the vinyl and make it appear to have many small bumps.  This is usually not repairable.  For more information and installation advice, please view the video below titled “Avoid Dots/Adhesive lines”.
  • Film colors can vary slightly from roll to roll. For the most consistency, please purchase a full roll.  We are unable to guarantee consistency with multiple orders of cut yardage
  • The Arlon warranty is for product value only and provides no protection or reimbursement for additional costs including labor or vehicle/paint damage.  Please refer to the Information Sheets below

Arlon 2600CX 2017 Testimonial

“Arlon’s Series 2600CX Automotive Chrome installs really nice and stays in place without the use of adhesive promoter.  The 52” width lets us do more with wraps without seams.”

“Chrome wraps have gained popularity in Florida over the years.  We at Carbon Wraps pride ourselves on offering quality distinctive wraps such as custom chrome colors to our clients for a truly exceptional wrap.  Using a laminator we “laminate” ORACAL 8300 Transparent Cal vinyl over silver chrome, or any colored chrome, to get a stunning finished product that leaves our clients thrilled to drive home. You can even wet apply transparent over chrome*, just know that it takes more skill and patience to be done correctly.  Also, some smaller areas of the vehicle can be done this way to make the install easier. For example: door handles, hood antennas, and sometimes mirrors.  Chrome is thick, so when you add an additional film to it, some areas are harder to wrap. Lamination also helps protect the chrome underneath from scratching and abrasion.”
